Paracetamol + Phenylphrine Hydrochloride + Cetirizine Hydrochloride Tablet: Phenylephrine + Paracetamol + Cetirizine falls in a class of  'cough and cold medications' that are usually employed to treat symptoms of common cold and allergy, such as sneezing, watery eyes, or runny/watery nose and throat. The common cold is a respiratory disease of the nose and throat, which is primarily caused by viruses called rhinovirus. The virus invades the body by entering through the mouth, nose, or eyes and rapidly travels by droplets in the air when an infected individual sneezes, coughs, or speaks.

Phenylephrine + Paracetamol + Cetirizine is composed of Cetirizine, Phenylephrine, and Paracetamol. Cetirizine is a class of antihistamines that acts by preventing the action of histamine, a chemical that is responsible for triggering allergic responses. It alleviates such symptoms of allergy like sneezing, runny nose, watery eyes, itching, swelling, congestion, or stiffness. Phenylephrine reduces the blood vessels in the nasal cavity, thus decreasing a stuffy nose. Paracetamol is an analgesic and antipyretic whose mechanism of action involves interference with the formation of some chemical messengers in the brain called 'prostaglandins', which are the cause of pain and fever.
