Desloratadine & Montelukast Sodium Tablets

Desloratadine + Montelukast Tablets is employed in the management of allergic rhinitis. Allergic rhinitis (hay fever) is an allergic reaction to particular foods or pollen, pet dander, or other allergens. Allergic conditions are different from individual to individual. It is usually marked by allergic symptoms like a runny nose, sneezing, red, watery, itchy, and inflamed eyes.

Desloratadine + Montelukast is a combination tablet of two drugs: Desloratadine and Montelukast. Desloratadine is an antihistamine and works by inhibiting the effect of histamine (allergic chemicals) and minimizing the allergic response. It offers immediate relief from allergic symptoms. Montelukast is a leukotriene antagonist, which inhibits an inflammatory chemical messenger (leukotriene) and minimizes inflammation and swelling in the nose.
