Rifaximin Tablets

Rifaximax 200 Tablet is used to cure infectious traveller's diarrhoea that is caused because of E.coli bacteria, hepatic encephalopathy and irritable bowel syndrome with diarrhoea. Traveller’s diarrhoea is a type of infection in which there is a passage of unformed chemicals in the body. Hepatic encephalopathy occurs because of loss of brain function when a damaged liver is unable to remove toxins from the blood. Irritable bowel syndrome is a condition which directly affects the large intestine. Rifaximax 200 Tablet extracts ‘Rifaximin’, which helps by working on the bowel and reducing the spread of infections that are caused by the loss of beneficial gut bacteria.  Rifaximax 200 Tablet helps in providing relief from abdominal pain and diarrhoea.

Rifaximax 200 Tablet is related to the category of medicines called antibiotics which is used to treat infectious travellers diarrhoea, hepatic encephalopathy and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). Rifaximax 200 Tablet is used to cure traveller’s diarrhoea which is caused by non-invasive strains of E.coli. Rifaximax 200 Tablet is a broad-spectrum antibiotic medicine that is protective against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, aerobic and anaerobic bacteria, and ammonia-producing bacteria. Rifaximax 200 Tablet is a gastrointestinal-selective antibiotic with a broad spectrum of antimicrobial activity. Rifaximax 200 Tablet is bactericidal and helps to kill the bacteria that cause infections. It helps in curing and reducing the spread of infections.

How to Use:-

• Take the medicine at the same time every day as the doctor prescribes.
• Take the tablet with a big glass of water and swallow it directly without breaking or chewing it.
• Keep taking all of your medications even if you start to feel better before you finish the treatment.
• If you miss the dose of your medicine take it as soon as you remember.
• Don’t drink alcohol when you taking this medicine otherwise, you have to suffer from major side effects.

Precautions:-

Do not take this tablet if you are suffering from allergic to any of its contents, if you have a fever, blood in stools, constipation, vomiting, and abdominal pain caused by blockage of the bowel or any other problem. Consult your doctor if your condition does not improve, symptoms continue or re-appear even after taking this medicine for 3 days. Do not take this Tablet for more than 3 days or a prescribed period, if there will be no improvement in your health, ask your doctor. Avoid taking Rifaximax 200 medicine if you are pregnant or breastfeeding women talk to your doctor, They may prescribe you with alternate medicine. Rifaximax 200 Tablet is not prescribed for children below 12 years of age. Inform your doctor about all the medicines that you are taking and about your health condition or side effects that you are suffering after taking this medicine. Patients who are suffering from liver complications should avoid taking Rifaximax 200 tablets or consult their doctor before using this medicine.
