Brivalyte is an oral solution containing the active substance brivaracetam, used to treat epilepsy. It is indicated for the management of seizures in children over 2 years of age, adolescents, and adults. Used in conjunction with other anti-epileptic drugs to help control seizures.

Brivalyte oral solution is used to treat partial-onset seizures, also known as partial fits, which begin in a part of the brain. Sometimes, these seizures can spread to both sides of the brain (called secondary generalization). This is an oral solution that can decrease the frequency of these seizures.

Brivaracetam's mechanism of action is to stabilize abnormal electrical activity in the brain. Epilepsy is a condition in which nerve cells fire off in an uncontrolled manner, causing seizures. Brivalyte oral solution stabilizes these signals and decreases the risk of fits.

Directions for Use

• Call your doctor for urgent help or contact your doctor if you think you (or someone else) may have taken more than the recommended dose.

Missed a Dose

• Take the missed dose when you remember.
• If it's close to the time for the next dose, then you should skip the dose you missed.
• Never double dose to catch up on the missed dose.
