    Ambroxol Hydrochloride Respirator Solution

Ambroxol Hydrochloride is a group of drugs known as 'mucolytic agents' (cough/sputum thinner), which is mainly prescribed for the treatment of acute (short-term) and chronic (long-term) respiratory disorders that are characterized by excess mucus. Ambroxol Hydrochloride is prescribed in the conditions of acute and chronic bronchitis (airway infection), laryngitis (voice box infection), tracheitis (windpipe infection), and chronic illnesses such as chronic bronchitis and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).

Ambroxol Hydrochloride includes Ambroxol hydrochloride, which acts by loosening and thinning the phlegm (mucus) of the lungs, windpipe, and nose. Ambroxol Hydrochloride hydrolyzes the acid mucopolysaccharide fibres, thus thinner and less dense/viscous sputum, which is effectively expelled by coughing. The sputum viscosity is still low as long as the treatment is continued.
